What are the final year students?
They are corn kernels.

What happens in the placement scenario?
Well, the corn kernels are taken to an extremely heated pan where they go under a lot of pressure. The ones which turn into popcorn are the ones which are selected for Round 2 in the placement cell. The ones which are still kernels are rejected.

The Round 2 is with the agencies. Every time an agency comes, the popcorn vendor starts filling students in the popcorn bag. Sometimes the bag is slightly full, while others is there are chances that it might be perfect as well. It actually depends on how much the agency needs.

At times the kernals come in the popcorn bag, they are the ones which almost managed to crack the pressure test and the agencies selected them.

Critics says that Indian Youth got it all wrong. The number one reason he fails is because he runs behind jobs and placements rather than learning and knowledge.

But let me change the whole perspective for you.

Just replace the word Jobs and Placement with EMPLOYMENT.

Unemployment is fierce in india. A hungry man wants food first not knowledge or enlightenment

I bet, it makes much for sense to you now that why youth is attracted towards placements and often even gets duped by institutions promising good placements.

We ourselves know atleast half a dozen people who are great at something but don't have employment.

So may be before skilling India we need to employ
India so once we can guarantee our food, we can
focus on learning, culture, knowledge and everything else.
