गर्भ में एक बच्ची की अपनी मां से ख्वाहिश :-
मैं जब इस दुनिया में जन्म लूं तो
पापा मुझे देखकर भी मुस्कुराए
दादी भी मुझे अपने सीने से लगाए
और मां तू मेरे लिए ताने ना खाए।
मेरी बस इतनी सी ख्वाहिश है।
मेरे लिए भी न्यू खिलौने आए।
मैं लड़की हूं मुझे यह बार-बार ना बताया जाए।
मुझे भी भाई के समान समझा जाए।

मेरी पढ़ाई में ही फाइनेंशियल प्रॉब्लम ना आए।
भाई को बिजनेस और मुझे होम साइंस ना पढ़ाया जाए।
मेरे सपनों को भी पंख दिए जाए।

बड़ी हो जाऊं जब मैं
और जब मैं निकलूं घर से बाहर तो
मुझे नजरें झुकाने को ना कहा जाए।
हंसू बोलूं मैं जिसके साथ
उसे मेरा यार ना समझा जाए।
विदाई के वक्त मेरा ही घर
मुझे पराया ना बताया जाए
मेरी बस इतनी सी ख्वाहिश है।
