I paused my
ongoing placidity
during the period
of inevitable crisis,
Peace which i denied
more but not in a
conscious way,
it was by chance act
without knowing little,
lullabies were drizzled
on the core of my
decision making
grinder from where i
was unaware but
they told me indirectly
to reject the path of
peace for the way was
not my typo in any way.

loves drowning
in the ocean of your lullabies.
like, how your voice
sounds like
a soft disaster
and slowly creeps
through my entire mind
and lasts inside me
until i lose myself to you.

The Dreamcatcher

Silently hanging
over my cradle,
you feed me peace
through your ladle.
I feel your embrace
nesting me,
keeping away
the dreams eerie.
You sing to me
through weaved thread,
a much needed rhyme
for my cluttered head.
I sleep unafraid
& in rapture,
lulled by visual melodies
of my dreamcatcher.

still sings
lullabies
for her kid
every night,

only if
her daughter
can hear it
from the
tiny coffin.

Rigged Dice

How I loved the way you would hush my tears with your gentle arms that brought me closer.
How I loved the taste of your sweet whispers, of the lullabies you sang that burried me in warmth and security on even the coldest of nights.

But alas, these are just the mere memories you left behind, along with the haunting day dreams of a future that was not meant to be, which you traded for my sanity.

All things pleasant come to an end.
It is a game that cannot be won.
An illusion of a paradise.
It is an army of shadows that hide behind rigged dice.
