ज़्यादा नहीं ख्वाहिशें मेरी
दिन भर का हो काम
ना माँगू कभी आराम
भूख लगने पर मिल जाये रोटी
भले ही घर की छत हो छोटी

I am a peasant, I am a farmer,
I am a labourer, I am a worker.

मजदूर दिवस

मजदूर हूँ साहब, बेचारा नही,
जिंदा हूँ, अभी हारा नही।
मेहनत जन्मसिद्ध अधिकार है,
रक्त का मेरे व्यवहार है,
क्या समझेंगें वो, जो कभी न तपे,
घर में बैठना काम हमारा नही।
मजदूर हूँ........
सड़क से लेकर शहर तक गढ़ा,
निर्माण को गगनचुंबी इमारतों पर चढ़ा,
आज वो कहते है वही बैठ कर,
जाओ! शहर ये तुम्हारा नही।
मजदूर हूँ..........
कहाँ मिला, जो था हक में,
तिरस्कृत भी हुआ हूँ जग में,
खुद की सड़क को, खुद ही नापा,
प्रवासी का कोई सहारा नही।
मजदूर हूँ.........
पैरों में छाले, पर गम नही,
दिल पर लेने वाले हम नही,
जाओ; तुम्हारी अट्टालिकाएँ मुबारक,
झोपड़ा भी कुछ कम हमारा नही।
मजदूर हूँ......
मजदूर होने पर गर्व है मुझें,
एहसास कैसे समझाऊँ तुझे,
1 मई है मजदूरों का दिवस,
चलो छोड़ो, दिन ये तुम्हारा नही।

Also, Happy International Labours day to all those who are new to balancing their office work/course work and household work during this covid time.
Last but not the least, Happy International Labours Day for the Hardworkers who are being compared.
You may not be perfect. But you are doing a great job.
You may not satisfy the people around you, but you know the stress you take and the dedication you are showing.
