When you hit the gym, the first few days
are painful, with aches everywhere.
Later, even as you are consistent,
the same pain that you experienced in the
beginning, transforms itself into strength.
Now, your pain is so numb that it just
translates every extra effort into strength.

पहले लगता था हर दिन अच्छा हर मौसम सुहावना सुहावना।
अब हमें दिलकश नज़ारा, खु़शनुमा पहर नज़र नहीं आता है।
एक वक़्त था जब हमारे चारों तरफ़ भीड़ ही भीड़ छाई रहती हैं।
अब तन्हा क्या हुए देखो ना, हमें अपना घर नज़र नहीं आता है।
एक बार मोहब्बत से रिश्ता क्या टूटा, ज़िंदगी पूरी स्याह हो गई।
सब कुछ अंधेरा ही अंधेरा है, ये भोर का उजला सहर नहीं आता।
पहले लगता था कि वो बस तेरा है और मेरे लिए ही है जहां में।
पर जब से छोड़कर गया है, बुरे वक़्त में हूँ हमसफ़र नहीं आता।
उसकी यादें आती हैं, सुबह से लेकर शाम तक और जान लेती हैं।
पर जिसके कारण जीना दुश्वार हुआ है वो दिलबर नहीं आता है।
मुदर्तों पहले निकला था ये तन्हा मुसाफ़िर मंज़िल की तलाश में।
बचपन से जवानी हुई, पर जिसे अपना कहूँ वो दर नहीं आता है।
