क्यूँ कोई साथ दे मेरा ,इन ऊबड़ खाबड़ राहों में
क्यूँ कोई थामे मेरा तपता मन ,अपनी बाहों में

सीधी सरल सड़क से
ऊबड़ खाबड़ रास्तों पर मैं खुद अपनी मर्ज़ी से आयी
तो फिर इन राहों के पत्थरों की क्यूँ देती फिरूँ दुहाई?

खुद ही इन पत्थरों को तोड़ तोड़ कर,एक छोटी सी पगडंडी बनानी होगी
फिर बाकी लोगों को भी इस पगडंडी की, राह दिखानी होगी।

पर, पगडण्डी बनाते समय
उन लोगों के सहयोग के लिए बार बार हाथ क्यूँ फ़ैलाऊँ
मेरे ऊबड़ खाबड़ रास्तों पर बार बार, किसी की उम्मीद में क्यूँ रूक जाऊँ?

काफ़िले से ऊब कर, उससे दूर भाग
अकेले सैर करने की तमन्ना लिए
मैं जब एक नए रस्ते पर निकला
तो दूर दूर तक कोई भी ना दिखा
सुनसान रस्ते को देख बहुत ख़ुशी मिली
सोचा काफ़िले से पीछा छूटा

कुछ मीलों के सफ़र,
कुछ महीनो की सैर के बाद
बेहद खुश, जब पीछे मुड़ कर देखा
तो मेरा खुद का एक काफ़िला
बन चुका था
सैकड़ो लोग मुस्कुराते हुए, कहने लगे,
'आगे बढ़ो, हम तुम्हारे साथ हैं!'

चलूंगा कदमों से दूर उस पार मंज़िल तक,
थकावट को नज़रंदाज़ कर के...

न किसी को शिकायत होगी मेरे चलने से,
चलूंगा दबे पाँव न आवाज़ कर के...

'Happy New Year!' The first thing I heard this morning. Quite obvious thing because first day of new year is arrived with rising sun. Getting a morning walk in the cold breeze was the perfect starting of day and it gave little warmness to slightly feel better in cold. I saw the cute little puppy which was trying to find something or someone, who knows? Just not to ignore him I continued walking on my pathway return to home. It was following me and I continued to way home. I was expecting that it will come with me to home but it didn't. Exact thing with our life, almost everything which is in your way no matter it's with you, behind you or next to you, there's no guarantee it will remain with you.
