एक अजीब सी खामोशी ने है पैर पसारे,
चिराग-ए-लौ दिखाने वाला कोई बचा नहीं,

तोड़ दिया है दम इच्छाओं ने भी अब,
रज़ा-ए-ख़ामोशी की अब कोई सहर नहीं,

करता रहा कश्ती-ए-एहसास संभालने की बहुत,
डूब जाने के सिवा कश्ती दरिया में कुछ बचा नहीं,

कहने को बहुत कुछ था पर सुनने वाला कोई नहीं,
दफ़्न-ए-कब्र-ए-ख़ामोशी के सिवा कुछ बचा नहीं,

Are you really the one whom I knewed!
There were the days when you laughed even on my stupid jokes,
now sending a smiley is formality to you
There was a time when we talked for hours,now talking for a minute with me is burden to you
Once I was a speacial person to you, now I'm not more than a stranger to you
