चिराग-ए-लौ दिखाने वाला कोई बचा नहीं,

तोड़ दिया है दम इच्छाओं ने भी अब,
रज़ा-ए-ख़ामोशी की अब कोई सहर नहीं,

करता रहा कश्ती-ए-एहसास संभालने की बहुत,
डूब जाने के सिवा कश्ती दरिया में कुछ बचा नहीं,

कहने को बहुत कुछ था पर सुनने वाला कोई नहीं,
दफ़्न-ए-कब्र-ए-ख़ामोशी के सिवा कुछ बचा नहीं,
