If street lights could speak they revealed the " PAST" and "LAST" night's stories..

It's been some time,
Since I went on the terrace at night.
The street lights are on like always,
Except for some,
They seem to be short-circuited.
They are kinda reminding of people.
Repeating the same pattern day after day,
Without any conscience,
Just like any machine,
Just like these street lights,
Until one day, they can't work anymore.

Staring towards the night of life,
The dim lights glow so fine!
Making the streets darker at night.

the silence turns musical
and the chirping crickets
are silenced by the drops
making their way all over.
The streetlights create
a strange scene lighting
up the wet trees that
hold tiny mirrors of drops.

The tangled cables,
streaming parallel
to the streets,
beguile my dreary eyes
in the violaceous twilight.
The long black rectilinears
seems no where to end,
but they pause at a point,
pausing the tenebrosity,
of the stepping in night,
in the duvet of its light,
giving me a pensive pose,
where they coalesce
into a muddled coil
of great confusion,
yet a luminous fusion,
highlighting the concrete,
of the lone, dingy street !

There're street lights everywhere, it's just that you're drunk. There're always street lights.

Even these street lights direct me back to you,
Whenever I lose my way home...

He would get out early in the morning
Whether it was foggy, cold or rainy.
Those bare feet would have invested
In their earnings.
By the time we woke up our eyes,
He would move the heavy sack back
Into the garbage.
One is their life, all materiality
& ashes away from rest,
& one is our life, still unhappy with all materiality.
How much life is learned,
Poor child's begging these garbage.
Poor child's cry out of garbage
when they get happy, throwing toys of some child's.
Finding someone's thrown cloth,
without any thoughts, without any discrimination.
The poor child's taking these garbage with their hearty.

If street lights could speak, they'd tell us about those, who turn over the pages of knowledge under the lights to bring lights into their lives.

चमकता है चाँद , जगमगाती है दुनिया (God made)।
जलती है स्ट्रीट लाइट, रोशन होती हैं गलियाँ ( Man made) ।।
