शहरी चमक -दमक के अंधेरे कोनों में,
गंदगी के साथ पसरे जीवन के ढेर ।
अलसुबह से नारकीय जीवन जीते,
चौराहों पर जिंदगी का बाजार लगाते ।
बचपन के हाथों में कचरे की थैलियां,
नाकारी के बोझ तले बूढ़ी जवानी,
कोख में स्याह भविष्य लिए हाथ
पसारती ममता । कभी बेचे गये,
कभी लूटे गए,
कभी फुटपाथों पर कुचले गए ।
हमारे फिक्र की इंतिहा मुंह फेरने
या चंद सिक्के देकर
पीछा छुड़ाने भर की है।
इंसान बनने की कोशिश
शेखर अब इंसान से नहीं होती ।।

सपनों के पीछे भागते हुए देखा है किसी स्त्री को,
किस तरह लड़ती हैं रिश्तों के कुरूक्षेत्र में।
बस मुकाम हासिल करना चाहती है हरहाल में।

कोई अल्लाह, कोई ईश्वर
कोई कुछ पुकारता है
इंसान भी न जाने मुझे
कौन- कौन से धर्म
में बाटता है...
चढ़ावे के नाम पर
करोड़ों लुटाता है,
पर किसी बे सहारे का
मददगार न बनता है|
दंगे फसाद सब कराता
है,
पर आपसी भाईचारा न
निभाता है|
कोई अल्लाह, कोई ईश्वर
कोई कुछ पुकारता है
इंसान भी न जाने मुझे
कौन-कौन से धर्म
में बाटता है...

that they know us very well
but in reality they only know
what we want to show Them.
So don't let negativity dominate
yourself by looking at others and
Always be happy.
