जैसे इक, पागल, मस्त, बहती, नदिया का सा पानी!!!
ऊंचे हो पहाड़, पत्थर जंहा तो,
सकुचा के टेढ़ी होकर निकल ही जाती है,
अपना रास्ता तो नदिया, स्वयं बना जाती है,,,
जो हो, छोटे ,-मोटे कंकड़ या पत्थर,
उछलकर, कुद-फांद कर, बिना रुके,
फिर से बह जाती है नदिया,,,, प्यारी...
ना रह तू यूं अंजुरी में पड़ी सड़ जाएगी,
ना ठहर तपती धूप में, भाप बनकर तू उड़ जायेगी,
निकल घर के माहौल से थोड़ा खुद के लिए,
थोड़े धीमे धीमे ही सही, पर अपने लिए चल तू नारी,
सबके लिए तो तू रोज़ मरती है, अब अपने लिए जी,
जैसे अल्हड़ मदमस्त बहती नदिया का सा पानी,,,
मत छोड़ किसी को, कुछ पाने की खातिर,
बह नदिया सी, समेट के सब कुछ,
साथ लेकर चल सबको अपने,
अपना रास्ता भी बना और पा ले मंजिल,,,
लेकिन बस चल...
अपना रास्ता, तू खुद बना ले नारी....
जैसे इक, पागल, मस्त, बहती, नदिया का सा पानी!!❣️

When you say I don't look married
Were you thinking of fixing me up with your boy?
Or were you expecting a little one clutching my hand and a toy?
Oh, you meant to compliment me for my figure
Knowing my health, I'd ask you to reconsider.
Maybe you assumed I was single from the hair colour on my head
Trust me, there far more greys under that brown and red
Did it occur to you that not all married women wear bangles and bindi?
And some single women may even wear these because they look trendy.
And of course, a ring in my ring finger wasn't an indication
Wearing diamonds and gold are part of our Indian tradition
Maybe my jokes and laughter gave it away
How can someone married for 4 years be so chirpy and gay?
Okay, alright, this time I give you the benefit of the doubt
But next time, should I announce my marital status on the mic or give a handout?

घरवालो के खुशियो के लिये उसने
शादी करणे को हा कह दि
आज उसकी पहली रात थी बावली थी वो
उसको तो कुछ पताही नही था
पढायी और खेळणे के अलावा
सब समझा रहे थे
पती कुछ भी करे चिल्लाना मत
मारना मत भागना मत
वरना खानदान की इज्जत चली जायेगी
चूप रही दर्द सेहती रही
उस बिचारी को क्या पता था है तो बस
सुरुवात है घरवालो के खुशियो की लिये जो कदम उसने उठायी उसके लिये तकदीर गरम कोयले जमीन पर बिछाये उसका इंतजार कर रहा है

Most of the times, a married woman is made to believe that she is not doing enough for the family. Even after being available 24×7 for the family, a woman is still made to believe that she could have done more. Every minute, every second she gets to hear “Agar aise kara hota toh zyada acha rehta”.

The irony of the situation is that she becomes so easily available to everybody that in-spite of being an integral part of the family she is not valued enough. Her own family starts taking her for granted and her presence becomes oblivious to everyone else around. Hence it is important to draw a line between being available and too available.......

रात होते ही ज़ोर-जब्र से जिस्मों के कपड़े उतारने लगते हैं
रात से शादीशुदा औरतों के साथ बलात्कार बढ़ने लगतें है

ब्याही हुई लड़कियां
पालतू लैब्राडोर सी होती हैं
वो थोड़ा ज़्यादा अपनापन खोजती है।
लोगों को ज़्यादा अपना समझती है
बहुत ज़्यादा खुश होती हैं
बहुत ज़्यादा रोती है
वो सभी से प्रेम करती हैं
सभी का प्रेम चाहती है।
बहुत कुछ कह नहीं पाती
कुछ कुछ कहने की कोशिश करती है।
वो भागती ज़्यादा हैं, हांफती ज़्यादा है
यादों की मिट्टि कुरेदने में उन्हें आनंद आता है
वो लोगों के मन को सूंघ लेती है।
दिन भर की तन्हाई के बाद
उन्हें एक गरमा गर्म आलिंगन का इंतज़ार रहता है
वो गलतियां कर के
मुंह किसी मासूम बच्चे सा बनाती है
उन्हें चाहने वाले सब होते हैं
समझने वाले कम।
लड़कियां लैब्राडोर सी होती हैं
उन्हें लीश में नहीं बांधना चाहिए।
