दीवाली की साफ सफाई में ,
बचपन की पुरानी याद मिल गयी ...

काली रातों को रंगोली सी सजी सपने और
रोशनी की सौगात मिल गयी ।

मिठाई की मिठास के साथ भाई -बहनो का साथ मिल गया।
पटाखों की शोर में बचपन का हँसी -उल्लास मिल गया।।

I hated firecrackers.

But lately I've realised,
they just resemble life,
the life that ignites,
conquers the sky
and then turns into ashes,
blown by the wind
to forgotten meadow.

Every group or tribe have their share of black sheeps.... And the people guilty of bursting crackers amidst sloganeering got high on emotions..
By the way it was fun watching them playing the fool..
I thoroughly enjoyed it in these sad and stressful days.. If not for these Covidiots,
this brightful night
would have been easily forgotten.
