I'm a candle 
that can't stand 
until melted 
from down. 
You're fire
that warms me
making me stable

You're flame
that lightens up
the darkness

I'm the wax

We live together,
we die together
from flicker
till the flicker.

जब हम देहरी पे एक दिया जलाने निकले,
चाँद की चाँदनी में सूरज की तपिश मिटाने निकले,
टिमटिमाते तारों की रोशनी से एक पल नहाने निकले,
नकारात्मक तंतुओं पे विजय पाने निकले,
एकजुटता का प्रमाण दिलाने निकले,
हाँ हम रोशनी बुझा रोशनी ही आज़माने निकले,
देशहित में एक अदना सा हाथ बढ़ाने निकले,
बात नियत की है दीपक की नहीं ये बताने निकले,
जब हम देहरी पे एक दिया जलाने निकले!
