Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu. Happy Iftar. Please mention my father in your Du'a. We lost him today. May Allah SWA make his grave a garden from the gardens of jannah. May Allah SWA forgive his shortcomings and protect him from the punishment of the grave. May Allah SWA make Firdaus his final abode and may Allah SWA grant us fortitude to bear this loss. आपने कहा था, "मौत ज़िन्दगी से बड़ी कैसे हो सकती है?"
आज तो ऐसा ही लग रहा कि, "मौत ज़िन्दगी से बड़ी ही होती है।"

ऋषि साहब,
आज चाँद की धुंधली सी यहाँ 'चाँदनी' हैं,
आज शांत हैं 'सागर' की वो हलचल सी लहरें।
गलियां नहीं, शहर नहीं, अब दिल भी शून्य हैं,
वो 'अकबर' का 'अग्निपथ', जो थाम लिया उसने।
बस अब वो 'कर्ज़' ही याद हैं,
मुस्कुराहटों का, जज़्बातों को,
और 'दर्द-ए-दिल' में वो खालीपन सा,
जो 'मुल्क' की आँखों से कह रहा कि,
ऐ 'दफलीवाले', यूँ 'रफ्फु चक्कर' क्यों हो गए,
'खुलम खुला' हँसाने वाले,
खुलेआम यूँ हँस के सो गए।
नम आँखे न देख सके,
कोई मजहब, न कोम,
बस वो आखरी बात कहूँ मैं,
'ॐ शांति ॐ'।।

My heart races past the tears rolling down
Down the cheeks which were once red
Red with some blushing and the tears
Tears of the depressed unchanted soul
Soul asking questions to the eyes
Eyes of an immortally fervid being
Being around colourful characters
Character has dwelled into colors
Colors of emotions and dilutions.
Dilutions of an inked piece of trash.
Trash in those tears of present.
Present vanishes with those eyes flowing.
