लड़की हो तुम लड़की....

राष्ट्रपिता महात्मा ज्योतिबा फुले जी यह मानते थे कि जब तक
भावी पीढ़ी का निर्माण करने वाली माताएं व बहने
अशिक्षा के अंधकार में डूबी रहेंगी तब तक हमारा देश
व समाज की वास्तविक उन्नति नहीं हो सकती और इसलिए
उन्होंने महिलाओं को शिक्षित करने पर बल दिया।
जब इस कार्य के लिए उन्हें कोई महिला शिक्षिका नहीं
मिली तो उन्होंने स्वयं अपनी पत्नी सावित्रीबाई फुले
को शिक्षित कर शिक्षिका बनाया जिससे वह महिलाओं
को शिक्षा दे सकें और 1848 में प्रथम महिला
विद्यालय की स्थापना की।

महात्मा फुले ने किसानों और श्रमिकों के हितों व
उनके समृद्ध जीवन के लिए भी अनेकों प्रयास कियें
और उन्हें शिक्षित और संगठित किया। उन्होंने देश के
युवाओं से आह्वान किया था कि वे देश, समाज,
संस्कृति को सामाजिक बुराइयों तथा अशिक्षित से
मुक्ति करें और स्वस्थ व सुद्दढ़ समाज के निर्माण के
लिए आगे आयें।

उस ज्ञान को एकत्रित
करने का कोई फायदा नहीं है।
जो एक नारी की
इज्जत करना ना सीखाता हो

పనికిరాని ఆంక్షలు హద్దులు
ఇవేవీ నిన్నాపలేవు...
సాంప్రదాయాలపేరిట నిన్ను
కట్టిపడేయాలని చూసినా
అన్నింటినీ తెంచుకుని
నీ గమ్యంవైపు అడుగులేయ్...
నూతన చరిత్రను లిఖించేందుకు
లెక్కచేయకు దేన్నీ...

Be self-reliant, be industrious
work, gather wisdom and riches,
All gets lost without knowledge.
We become animal without wisdom,
sit idle no more go, get education.
End misery of the oppressed and forsaken,
you have got the chance to work,
you have got.the chance to prove urself.
So learn and show everyone who you are and what you can achieve. And,
Break the chains which is holding you back.

Always keep taking steps towards ur dream..

Women are like flowers
When we tie them up with the string called education, it will make an attractive garland...

for every piece of poetry
I know that there is still a woman
in some part of this world
who just caresses the strokes
of alphabets or letters or numbers
and tries to absorb the feel of it
(with a sigh and a smile burdened with grief for good or for bad she doesn't know, yet)
because she can't read it.

this piece is for her.
