"How did this three-day long weekend pass by so fast?" I asked him when he urged me to put an alarm for the next day and sleep early. After having our dinner, when we had just finished watching the first episode of a web series. He was very much aware of the Monday blues and my myriad excuses for skipping the work the next day. "Can I ask them for a work from home tomorrow?" With a stern look of a strict parent, he rejected it outrightly. "NO chance! you are not missing work tomorrow!" He said. I put my cutest sad face on display. He started laughing and wrapped me in his hug. He said, "We made a promise that we will achieve our dreams. So let's work hard even on Mondays so that one day we can cosy up in the bed every single morning as much as we want." I kissed him for his immeasurable love. But we ended up binge watching the entire series. The next day, we both woke up at 11. He had actually let me stay back and so did he. I went back into his arms.

I am about to sleep while getting ready for my Monday. The blues don't hit me anymore. I work now, towards my only dream, to be with him and wake up in his arms, just one more time.
