बिन गुरू राह कठिन है जीवन की,
ये ज़िंदगी का फलसफा सिखाते हैं।
वो वहीं स्थिर रहतें हैं जहाँ वो थे,
पर हमें फर्श से अर्श पर पहुँचातें है।।

वो शिक्षा और सज़ा दोनों ही देते है,
हमारे जीवन का मार्गदर्शन कराते है।
देकर ज़िंदगी और क़िताब का तजुर्बा,
जीवनपथ पर हमारा हौसला बढाते है।।

गुणों का अनमोल भंडार है गुरू,
ये तो बस ज्ञान का खजाना लुटाते है।
पिता और गुरू दो ही व्यक्ति हैं जो,
हमें खुदसे आगे बढ़ता देखना चाहते हैं।।

आप फ़र्क नहीं करते किसी भी शिष्य में,
आप तो सबको ही काबिल बनाते है।
क्या दूँ और क्या कहूँ मैं गुरुवर आपके लिए,
आप अवगुणी "निक्क" को गुणवान बनाते है।।
