एक ख़्वाहिश...

(Poem in caption)

-

The Afraid Innocent

I walk in crowds with a smile so bright,
Yet shadows linger in broad daylight.
Faces around, so harmless they seem,
But whispers remind me of a broken dream.

I know they won't hurt, not like before,
Still, fear knocks softly on my heart's door.
Will they wear masks, with lies so sweet?
Will I be forgotten, just dust beneath their feet?

I've come so far, through storms and pain,
But this fear in me still leaves a silent stain.
I laugh, I shine, like nothing's wrong,
While deep inside, I fight for strong.

Oh, what an actress the world sees today,
Hiding wounds in the words I say.
"All is well," I whisper, like a song rehearsed,
While the afraid innocent carries her curse.

I greet her softly, she's wise yet small,
A fragile soul who has seen it all.
She knows the truth I cannot tell,
Yet holds my hand, saying "All will be well."

Unseen Symphony

I love him in whispers, unknown, unsaid,
A secret blooming where no words are laid.
Around him, my heart dances, wild and free,
Yet unease wraps me, like waves on the sea.

A glance from afar, enough to survive,
His smile alone keeps my soul alive.
No need for touch, no wish to claim,
Just a silent warmth, without a name.

He's bound to another, a promise so true,
A love not for me, but still, I pursue—
Not to steal, not to break what they weave,
Only to cherish, quietly, and leave.

If ever he knew the light in my eyes,
Would he drift away, cutting all ties?
I'd rather stay hidden, a shadow, a friend,
Than lose his smile, where my dreams ascend.

A good girl, unseen, in the corners I hide,
Loving in silence, with nothing to confide.
No distance can break what was never mine,
A love unspoken, like stars that still shine.

I seek him in crowds, yet when he's near,
My gaze turns shy, my heart feels fear.
Eyes that wander, yet dare not meet,
A silent pull, a heart's retreat.

He didn’t just tell me that I was blind and dumb; he proved it. But I’m grateful to myself for being okay now

Some wounds will never heal, and some people can never be forgiven, no matter how close they are to you. Sometimes, you'll be blamed and punished for things that happened—no matter how innocent you are.

REFLECTIONS

( POEM IN THE CAPTION)

-

My thoughts grow like a tree on double speed—fruitless, yet rich with leaves. I pluck them, shape them, and weave them into something fruitful. They surround me, sometimes making me a child lost in wonder, but with careful hands, I design them into the very words you’re reading.

I feel guilty for those who rush to finish a story, unaware that in their haste, they miss the very details that make it a masterpiece.
