I belong to you.
I belong everywhere,
yet I belong nowhere,
like the sky that appears
to kiss the sea at twilight,
I can only be found
in the illusions of space and time.-
I love getting lost in snow globes.
There's something
so light and comforting
about watching the snow falling,
soft and silent,
inside a bubble where
everything is always perfect.-
SNOW GLOBE
*************
Searching for something on a warm afternoon,
I emptied the cupboard I had long forsaken
Something in a corner softly clicked and crooned
I desired I had the music mistaken
My hands fumbled hastily for the snow globe
You gave to me in the Louisiana woods' frost,
For I could not hear this tune I now loathed
The one I used to sleep to, now an albatross
In winter you gave it to me while leaving,
Promising to be back when in the next snow slid
It's been nine summers and I've been vainly waiting
But neither came back the snowflakes, nor you did...-
Seems, mist crystals enclose
The city in a snow globe,
And its clasp, very tight.-
Hurricane In a Snowglobe
There isn't a meteorologist alive that
can predict when she'll strike.
Though there isn't an alert or special
trail of clouds to follow,
I loved to shake her up and watch her
funnel.
Leaves, water, & debris littered
everywhere.
She was notorious for being in her own little world.
& I, at the mercy of all her happiness.
Crashing down,
Devouring everything in reach.
Although love is sometimes hard
& crossing the street during a hurricane
is next to impossible.
I shook her once more and watched her wreak havoc.
I shook her continuously until there was
no more water in the plastic bubble
and she welcomed me to her comfort zone.
Maybe the next time the meteorologist
Will get it right,
Maybe next time she won't leave so

The Snow Globe:
It was her world; the snow globe.
After all, it was her home;
Peaceful, cosy and safe from the world outside.
She was curious about the outside world though;
Especially about the creator of the beautiful world she called her home...
Why did the creator create her world only to use it as a play thing or show piece?
What was it about the falling snowflakes that made the creator create a replica of them?

Seeing you is like being in a snow globe shake up...
For a moment my whole world went upside-down, filled with glitters!!-
Silently we danced around,
I held your hand and laid the other on your waist,
A story we found and lost,
You smiled with you hand wrapped around me.
Our world, real and fantasy,
Covered around in a fragile enclave,
A snow globe of forbidden ecstasy,
We shielded our childish thought.
We were young and naive,
But our love was real indeed.
Sooner the world fell and we had to leave.
Our fantasy broke, so did our snow globe.
Choosing silence was a though choice,
Losing you was a hard reality,
Yet I carried on with my share of bruises.
It did took a while to heal, yet the scars are deep and real.
Darling if you fail to smile or laugh once a while,
Wanting to escape the shallow reality,
Just hold on to a hope and cope.
There is a big wide world yet to be seen.
New souls to meet and create.
Even though you won't return or be the same.
I wish I could ease the pain.
Maybe somewhere in another reality,
You are still in my arms.
And we did have our happy ending again!-
