क्या फर्क पड़ता है
रात है या दिन

आंखें मूंद
आ जाए चैन...
वहीं आराम होता है

आदतों को हरा
हनन स्व का
हर बार होता है

नींद का आना
कभी-कभार होता है

The evening is getting cooler

There was a time when I thought having fun was playing games with friends.
Now fun to me is having a peaceful siesta with the kids at school.

Stealthy tiptoed steps,
To facilitate uninterrupted-

"Restive Siesta" reminds me

of all that should have been said,
but instead piled up as noxious scree.
of all the signs I should've read,
but gallivanting unbothered careless and free.

of matters so trivial yet harrowing,
which we render for being a disgrace.
certainly could have resolved with substantial zeroing.
but none would initiate to fix this muddled space.

how dependent i've grown to glee,
And in absence, a subtle blank page.
Now I know who I am and who I need to be,
and reticence helps in this unfathomable rage.

It's 3 am, I can't sleep, what should I do?
Avoid taking siestas may be was the answer.

in the afternoon like a siesta
with all the tinklings of
the likes, comments, and wows
going to a silent mode!
