KK's voice was the soundtrack of my plus 2. The trio of KK, Pritam and Emraan Hashmi ruled the roost from 2005 to 2007, giving us sanity despite the assault of Himesh around the same time.

I had picked up the guitar in 2005 and for the aspiring guitarist, no other mainstream singer (apart from Lucky Ali, who I don't consider mainstream) had so many guitar-based songs. Tu hi meri shab, Kya mujhe pyaar hai, Tu aashiqui hai, Dil ibadat, Zara sa, Alvida, Dil khudgarz, Khuda jaane. KK was the Arijit Singh before Arijit Singh. The singer because of whose songs one would want to watch movies. The one who immortalised dosti for us, who felt like our pal, who originally sang Pal. Who else could have? He was the OG Indian Idol.

Who was KK... ??

I would say them only this line..

"..A person who dedicated his 100% to the songs whose chords touched our heart and sang & performed on the stage till the last moment of his life for his fans..."

It was very unexpected, but true. After facing a massive heart attack he passes away in Kolkata. After a live show at Nazrul Manch on Tuesday he went back to his hotel. There he felt ill. He was brought to a hospital. There he was declared dead.
Dear KK, we will miss you always but remember you through your songs. Bollywood lost a white pearl. May his soul get rest and peace.

There was never a time when your voice wasn't a part of my life. From farewells to reunions, from school to college, every new love, every other heartbreak, every milestone, every memory I have ever had, I have shared it with you. Your songs are the legacy that will live on forever and will always be a part of my existence.

एक गायक या संगीतगार का दुनिया से अलविदा लेना
दिलों को झंझोर देता हैं .हम उनको नाम से भले ही न जानते हो ,पर उनकी गई हुई उस दौर की रचना या धुन .बीते वक्त की यादों में हमारे एहसासात के साथ किसी कोने में कही जरूर मुकययद रहते हैं . इनकी कला एक बुनियाद होती है , पर्दो पे नज़र आते सितारों के नाम तो हर कोई जानता हैं , जिनकी रचना पर ये सितारे झूम पाते हैं अपनी अदाकारी से हर जाहिर आंखों में टिमटिमाते हैं , और ये सूरज जिनकी रोशनी पीछे से खड़ी कही मुस्कुरा रही होती हैं
