Hello!
I am starting a poetry challenge for myself. I will be writing one poem every day for the next hundred days. The poems on some days will be good, on some days mediocre and sometimes pure crap. The aim is to not create a masterpiece every day but to make myself sit and write. We are writers and poets not because of the quality of the writing we produce but for the fact that we write despite realising how bad we are and how far we have to go.

We were like the crimson roses
blooming inside a poem
Sadly our own thorns bled
us and left us broken
What started to look like
a perfect rhyming couplet
Who thought would end
in a sepulchre sonnet
We wrapped the fire in
our hearts in coldest attire
For we felt ice would
salve the stinging satire
Through windows we peeked
in search of sweet euphony
Closing doors upon each
other, goading bitter soliloquy
'twas the poet who wrote us
off in a twist, our petals crushing
Perhaps we were not meant
to be in a happy ending

A positivity in green,
hanging in the
branches, dances
along with the
wind's wish.

समय से पहले सम्भलने लगे हैं
हम बदलने लगे है,

बच्चे तो कभी थे ही नही
जिम्मेदारिया लिए बढ़ने लगे है,

नजरअंदाज करने लगे है खुद को
अब ये अंदाज अपनो के लिए जीने लगा है
हा हम बदलने लगे है,

अपने दायित्वों का वजन लिए चलने लगे है
सायद इसीलिए औरो के नजरो से उतरने लगे है,
हा हम बदलने लगे है...😎

New Beginnings!

New beginnings are like fresh paint that masks the pungent smell of the old wood,
A promise that the endless passages of a maze would probably end and we'd see the other side of a river,
A hope that it would open new doors,
A confidence that you can scatter the coins and begin again and win.

Ruminated Musings
A camouflage of thoughts so deep
why do people sleep,
coz humans are weak
brains too mature yet so meek
so many things to do but,sleep is all they seek
yet Isn't that bleak
Those humans who sleep as we speak....

cooked specially
for a craving heart of foodie
with utmost love
by a committed mother.

Maybe it's hidden behind
those scoldings of father
with hidden love
eager to burst out
but awe needs maintenance.
