Nightshift problem 101

You get angry in the morning cause people are all like so talkative.

You get angry at night cause there is no one to be talkative with.

Those blood shot red eyes
Those tears he bottled up,
Whispered his struggles
In silence.

Night shift got the worst of him.

यकीं मानों आसान नहीं है हर सुबह, सुबह होते हुए देखना।
रात भर जाग कर दिन में ख़ुद को तबाह होते हुए देखना।।

SUNSET,
I fret,
Strained by night shifts,
My being forever battered in this timing drift.

ना सफ़र डरता हैं
ना सफ़र थकता हैं
ये ज़ुनून हैं एक
“अच्छा डॉक्टर” बनने का
इसलिए वो सारी रात पढ़ता हैं

तुम चले ग​ए अपने काम​,
गुमसुम सी यह दुनिया मेरी
कोई आकर पुकारे मेरा नाम ..!!

2am conversations are not 2am anymore.
They are like mechanical mornings,
because we sit up in a brightly lit up cubicle, made of monotony.
Our hands do the mundane work,
our hushed chattering comprise gossips, bitching, & office politics.

TV alone was entertainment,
Retirement itself was an achievement!
