"in the kitchen"
is the song that we play
and dance to everyday
except for the one
she's in the kitchen

need a pair of hands
to tie your shoelaces
she has four like
the goddess laxmi
i drew in my
drawing competition
she's in the kitchen

need a handkerchief
to wipe the extra oil
dripping down your forehead
go bury your face
in the 6 yards of grace
she is draped in
she's in the kitchen

problems could be many
but there's only one solution
and it lies, oh you know where
in the kitchen.

I wrote my first poem
When I was just twelve.
It was my parent's anniversary
And I composed the poem by myself.

Then, I read it out
In front of all the guests.
All of them applauded loudly
That feeling was just the best!

In this way I was encouraged
To write more, something nice.
Now I love writing poems
And it's most important in my life♥️

The day I discovered poetry in me...

How shall I forget the day,
The day I'm to say,
When I discovered the poetry
In me!
Hearing the news
Of the demise,
The demise of a beloved teacher;
An epitome of English Literature,
All my senses stopped functioning,
Totally denying
To accept the harsh reality
That I did want as a fallacy.
And the emotions that sprang up from my heart's core
As the waves touching the sea shore,
Led me discover the poetry
In me,
Pouring out every emotion
As deep as the ocean.

Oh..Yes...That was the day
When I wrote for the first
When I felt like not to sleep
When I felt my words for first
Late at night...And the words
Goes round n round in head
Those were the days of exams
Can't study more,so truly said
Cup of coffee and hours late
Ya..I Tried so hard to study
But algebra was such a mess
And in poem I found my buddy

that i have enough time
to meet myself
since a long
i haven't seen me
now i want to meet
i want to dress up me
i need a make-up kit
to enhance beauty
of my inner soul
For my eyes
I need eye-shades
to brighten my vision
for lips i need
some polite words
and of course
for ears i prefer
some pleasant words
because now-a-days
i have enough time
to enhance beauty
as i am alone

How I discovered Poetry

I was bored in the examination hall
And my mind scrolled from a corner to the other
The exam seemed easy
My mind began to evolve and thoughts poured out like a rain
So my finger began to scribble on the paper.
Alas, I explored a poet within myself
And the thoughts made me a poet
whom I gave birth in the examination hall!
