you realize that loving
will never be as easy as they say
but you got to choose to love
a little more everyday and
it must begin with you
and not anyone else
for no matter what
you've been told
or what they say
a little self love
won't hurt
anyway

if i've ever seen magic
i've seen it in your eyes
when you look at me
from across the table
under the candle light-
Whenever I try to draw
on tabletop, laptop
or TV screens
she comes running
out of nowhere
I swear she screams
She then shakes
her head from side to side
wags her finger too,
makes a face like
that of a cow
and goes moo moo moo
She takes the chalk
away from my hand,
throws it in the air,
says "the crow took it away"
oh, mommy! that's not fair
So I do what I do the best
I cry, cry, and cry
the crow returns the chalk it took
with the blink of an eye
Together we scribble an 'A'
and give us a loud cheer
we do this every day
one day it'd come out clear.-
and she goes chuckle- chuckle, giggle- giggle
from one room to another, holding my finger
she looks at me and i smile, " i'm aboard".

so don't you say that
god is everywhere
in people, plants and animals
in rocks, air and water
because I know that
killing animals
hurting people
buring forests
things we do for survival:
we won't do
if we believed that
the lord watches over us.

something that you love
when it stops loving you back
for then you'd be investing
all your energy on something
that would eventually
drain you out.-
doing the mundane things
with happiness and grace
Sipping pipping hot tea
with a smile on our face
watching our loved ones by
lowering the edges of newspaper
pouring our heart out
onto a piece of paper.-
