The amount of support and understanding you get in a girl's hostel is just immense. No judgments (at least they make it look like this), good manners (like saying thank you after they used your shampoo, soap or ate your home made laddoos without your permission).
You learn that sharing is actually caring ( yeah, taking care to hide your clothes and stuff properly or you might as well forget about them) and that it's totally possible for people to survive without their phone charger ( well why use theirs if they can have yours, kudos).
They become your family, there are no formalities, and the level of intimacy is just mind blowing ( yeah, people will actually ring your doorbell, brutally waking you up from your sweet sleep just to ask what's the time, or if they can have your kidney).

But the fact that you can roam around without kajal in your eyes and no one would ask you if you are sick (not because they don't care but because they know lol) and you can roam around with any rainbow color face pack or heena (or curd or egg paste or.....) in your hair without anyone laughing at you, is what makes the girls hostel amazing.

Days in hostel are always memorable, I miss how my roomies used to describe about their last night's dreams after waking up, how everyone is curious about your not-so-constant crush, how your neighbour-roomies convert into beauticians while one among us going for a date, there is always someone who gives the updated gossips even of boy's hostels, the exchange of earrings, that little jealousy when someone else's skin glows brighter than you, that happiness when someone's jeans fits into you, that dinner-off and midnight craving for Maggie, 'bathroom rules' are made to be broken, how we blame eachother for not sweeping the room, daily tantrum for light-off timing at night, annoying alarm sounds, sharing blankets and how all the roommates become legal advisors or philosophers after break-ups and here you can't say my slippers are my slippers, none of your slippers and the list goes on...

But really exams r test of ur character
How u handle pressure
How u manage time
How u make ur own decisions
If u give into the pressure
If u can't use ur time to speak up for urself
If u let other make decisions for u
Then ur score maybe 100/100
But u have failed
The choice is urs
But the time is now..
