He once remembered someone saying to him, quitting anything is easier once you hit the rock bottom. It makes sense doesn’t?  Imagine yourself trapped underneath 5 feet worth of crap where you are not able to breathe or see anything. Now, the real question is how desperate you are to come out of it alive? And the answer is, it does get easier. You will take a deep breath, close your eyes and crawl your way out sooner or later and you know why? Because you had no other options. It was the matter of life and death where there was no choice of quitting. You get lazy and you die instantly. And nobody wants to die without putting an effort to survive. Just like that, we can overcome any situation in life; no matter how crappy it is as long as we don’t give up.

कुछ बातों में प्यार, तो कुछ बातों में दर्द छुपा होता है |

बाहर देखा, अब शोर नहीं है
शांति भी तो नहीं है
ये सन्नाटा ऐसा व्याप्त है
जैसे मरघट पर
सब शव बैठें हों
बिना बोले,
बस भूमि की ओर ताकते हों
हमारी-तुम्हारी कितनी ही बातें
सुनते बहरी हुईं दीवारें
जिनसे इतने स्वर सर टकराकर
बैठे हैं अब माथा पकड़ कर
यह एक बात, एक यही आशा
आंगन में औंधी पड़ी जो
घायल, पराजित, मरणासन्न
पैरों पर मेरे
खून थूककर
कह गई है
"मुझे कोलाहल दो"
