A precarious balance
Right at the edge of a steep cliff
Everything hanging on tenterhooks;
The gentlest of pushes and down it all goes
A mad downward spiral.
I strain to see but in vain, the end evades me
But the heart knows as it hits rock bottom,
Fragmenting into a million pieces
Countless tiny particles of dust,
Hopes and dreams and tears and fears
Everything that makes up the whole me.
Sometimes a delirious unrest
Straining against the shackles of my mind
And sometimes like an astral body unharmed,
I gaze upon I, sitting amidst the tattered bits of my life.

Entropy

Like the false warmness of the cold breezes
The heart is filled with a false jollity
Interrupting the night ,melancholy teases
While accepting the dawn with an alacrity

Eyes are heavy as the heart is
Less to spoken more to express
Rustling of leaves muddles the trees
In a way of calmness ending with mess


Imitating the peace cloud hides those flaws
Stagnant wave of air is telling to take a pause
Finding the route when a day begins
While forgetting all the torment
Uncovering the everlasting things
I lost the moments

Like the free birds in the night dancing with a melody
This tired soul with a shivering heart desiring some entropy

ہر شخص کی الگ پہچان ہے
اب تعجب کس بات کا ہے
یہاں روز ایسا ہی ہوتا ہے

کسی کا نورِ نظر کھو گیا یہاں
کسی کو لخت جگر مل گیا یہاں
کسی کا گھر اجڑا کوئی آباد ہوا

ہو رہا ہے قتلِ عام ہر سو یہاں
رو رہا ہے ہر شخص اب ہر جگہ
کہیں سکون و عصمت لٹ رہی ہے

کوئی جوش سے آزادی مناتا ہے
کوئی آزادی میں آزاد نہیں ہے
کہیں کسی کا نورِ نظر کھو رہا ہے

کوئی جان لگا کر لڑ رہا ہے
کوئی خواب خرگوش بیٹھا ہوا ہے
کسی کو مانگنا آیا تو کسی کو چھینا۔

کسی نے عزت کمائی عمر بھر
کسی سے چھینا گیا ہے شام و سحر
کوئی محنت کوئی سو رہا ہے بےخبر

ہر شخص کی الگ ہے پہچان
اب تعجب کس بات کا ہے
یہاں ہر روز ایسا ہی ہوتا ہے
