পাশাপাশি বসে কিছুক্ষণ চুপ থাকার পর, দুজনের মনের কথাগুলো বুরবুড়ি কাটা থামিয়ে বাইরে বেরিয়ে এলো–
- “কি ব্যাপার? আজকাল দাড়ী-গোঁফ রাখছিস?”
- “না, আসলে বয়েস তো হল, তাই আর কী! তুইও তো দেখি বেশ মুটিয়েছিস।”
- “একদিন এই আমার রোগা হওয়া নিয়ে তুই কত্ত পেছনে লাগতিস বলতো!”
- “ছেলেবেলায় কি না কী বলেছি, তা এখনও ভুলিসনি তুই?”
- “ভুলে যাওয়ার জন্য কী আমাদের ক্লাসরুম বারবার এক হত অভি? এক সেকশান, পরপর রোল নাম্বার, সবই কী শুধুই স্মৃতি?”
- “স্মৃতিটুকুই তো সম্বল রে শ্রী! তোকে নিয়ে সিরিয়াস ঘরসংসারের ভাবনাচিন্তা করার ভুলটা আমার একারই ছিল।”
- “বাড়ীর চাপটা, কোনোকালেই মিথ্যে অজুহাত ছিল না; এটা বোধহয় এতদিনে তুই বুঝেই গেছিস।”
কথায় ছেদ পড়ল কন্ডাক্টরের হাঁকডাকে...
- “ইগোর লড়াইটা আজ বরং দূরে সরিয়ে রাখ। ভাড়াটা নাহয় আমিই দিচ্ছি”, অভিজিৎ মানিব্যাগ বের করতে লাগল।
- “আচ্ছা বেশ! তেত্রিশটা বছর পেরিয়ে গেলো বল! ছোটবেলায় বসন্তের দিনগুলো কিন্তু খুব রোম্যান্টিক ছিল। তাই না?” শ্রীময়ীর মুখে হালকা হাসির ঝিলিক।
- “তা যাচ্ছিসটা কোথায় সেটা কী বাস থেকে নেমে গিয়ে বলবি?”
- “আরেহ্‌ সরি সরি। এই তো! যাদবপুর!”
- “মা-মানে? আমিও তো!” অভিজিৎ চমকে উঠলো!
- “ওমা সেকী... তুই ও.. কোথায়??” শ্রীময়ীর বুক টা কেঁপে উঠলো আর একবার, তেত্রিশ বছর পর!...... (ক্রমশ)

Preet asks, " Dude are you in love with her?"
Beacause till now Preet never saw Manav staring at any girl. He was happy being single, he never cared to look at girls. He was bold, Confident & optimistic guy.
To which Manav replied,"I don't think this is love ,it is just an attraction. I guess! "
This answer made Preet shocked. Manav was getting attracted to a girl . This was above his senses.
They reached their respective homes and Manav was still dreaming about the girl when a message popped up in the group .There was a task assigned and another message followed which read
"Participation is compulsory and to be completed by next day 9.a.m."
To this Manav replied "Jo Karna hai karle, Mai yeh task nhi karunga."
This made her extremely angry. She impatiently messaged him personally "Stay in your limits 'kutte' . I know the technique to get you guys on the track."

Discrimination in studies

At the age of 5, she used to deliver books in a government school with her father (her father owned a library). Since, her father knew the importance of studies, he made her join the school secretly so that, her mother can't know it. She was happy to go to school. Her school used to be open thrice in a week and she always took care never to miss it out. Days, weeks and months passed by and she found that there are comparatively less girls than boys and in her class she was the only one!
She studied hard and topped in her class but she was quite unaware that her life will not help her any more.
One day her mother knew about it and she can't bear a girl going to school and getting educated and thus stopped her from going to school, anymore

As soon as Preet saw this he pinched Manav to get him back to senses. Manav yelled at Preet. Manav gave his number to Anny.
Anny was very conservative. She spoke very less as she was nervous about the event, whether she could handle it or no. She was very honest , straight forward & timid girl. She was wearing a blue Kurta and yellow leggins. For Manav she was an angel with a spell in her hand.
Event for that day ends and on the way back Preet asked Manav ,"What had happened to you today when she asked your number? "
Manav replied, " I don't know .I went numb looking at her attractive blue eyes."
