Oh dear! Jailer of heart
spare us a little, don't leave your scar
on innocence of kids and strength of wives
you're destroying families, when you take lives
I read you in newspapers and see in TV shows
disturbs me a little, my fear also grows
Trembling feets and chests full of pain
Does it pleases you, aren't you ashamed?
I am scared of eating cookie or any sweet
Avoiding a faint fall on a random street
Why life is about counting fat, calories and carbohydrates
And to make it longer, maintaining size and shape
My tongue is wicked and it cries for the taste
Isn't the purpose, for which it is placed
Why you arrest a heart, who just pumps blood
It may be our root, but you're not a spud
I am done hearing you, please take rest
No one wants you, cardiac arrest!
