Bygones be Bygones

I save myself, from the scars untold.
The scars that haunt and can’t unfold.

I shut off the stabs, the scars remain.
Wanting to remind, all again.

Let go the bygones, says the heart.
Reminds the scar, the same dumb
heart.

I have wronged me, in many ways.
Not perfect though, as always.

Past is a past, why not let go.
Go on, move on, with the gleam of hope.

when you open up your fists
that have been clenched
for far too long
and see your fingers curl out
like petals of a flower
to let go of the bygones,
the things that couldn't be,
and you smile...
That feeling,
does it have a name?

तारीखों में उलझ कर रह गयी है यादें!

कभी दूसरे महीने का चौदहवाँ दिन,
तो कभी हर महीने की पहली तारीख़,
गर्मियों की छुट्टियों में गुम वो दिन,
सावन में छुपते छुपाते भीगे सर,
टालने की आड़ में पतझड़ का आलस,
बसंत की बेबाकी सा मसखरापन...
सब याद है मुझे क्योंकि मेरे लिए,
हर याद है किसी गुज़रे साल जैसा!

Else they rear their heads
At vulnerable moments,
Dragging you back every time.

To know,
How it feels, when
They loose its shine ..

To know,
How it feels, when
She move on from sea ..

On Every night,
I asked the pillow
Why don't you get cold
Or fever ..?? When fully
Drenched in rain alike ..

On Every night,
I asks myself
What's with me,
To dig the bygones
When it is already buried ..

Then no matters whats going in his / her past
So lets bygones be bygones
Live our life for beautiful future ahead ....
