Walking Meditation
The clank of my anklet
on my barefooted strides
Compose a hypnotizing music
That fills my dwell with amorous vibes!-
you come
without gravity,
barefoot
holding see-saw memories
and gurgled smiles
of childhood moons
and show me
a pocketful of dandelion wisps
undoing the blank
greying margins of the sky
Poem in the caption...-
Walk a night with me, barefoot,
holding hands, on empty streets,
O better half of my soul!
I will whisper you the secrets,
That your beloved stars conceal,
and show you why your moon
showers its silver hues, and
shines so brightly.-
I took a walk
When the city slept.
From my home to her dreams,
Barefoot.
From the corner of the street,
I picked some sweet memories
for her, if she doesn’t remember me.
I was at her door
my hand reached to knock,
I heard a voice sweet like a melody.
she was singing a song for him.
The song that was ‘ours’ once.
I stand there for a moment
then knocked the door,
Leaving those memories at her door
on the doormat.
I took a walk back to home
Barefoot.-
Barefoot
Barefoot without hood,
Farmers work several hours,
Remain hungry, face hardship,
Throughout the year,
Even then they try always
In the hope of good days,
Plans remain in the file,
Or cornered by significant class,
Their hardship tell the tale of
Their struggle, which they face forever.
-
Having spent the whole day in your shoes,
the first step you take barefoot
makes your numb cells feel and breathe again.
You'd be aware of the grass, floor and the cracks so accurately.
It'll feel funny, for the lack of good word and in a good way.
When we first met, "You feel funny." I told him.
And he smiled, his eyes lit.
Maybe he walks around in shoes all day too!-
