A day before I died

किस्त भरते भरते तेरी ज़िन्दगी.सकूं का
कहीं मेरा वो कच्चा मकांन नहीं मिला.

बिकबाली में कट गये पेड़ ज़मीं के. फिर
मेरे आँगन में मुझे वो नादाँन नहीं मिला.

शामों शहर जिसका ही ख्वाब देखा मैंने
सपने में भी मुझसे वो इंसान नहीं मिला.

कह रहा कोई के खस्ता हूँ ख्याल मै भी.
वफा के काबिल कोई ईमान नहीं मिला.

इल्जाम शहर पर तलाशी हमारी भी हुई.
दो वक़्त की रोटी का मेरे घर में उन्हें
सामान नहीं मिला.

लाड करने के बहाने , मेरी मासूमियत को निगल गए ..
जिस्म तो किये तार तार तूने , पर मेरी आत्मा को भी कुचल गए ..

मिटा के अपनी हवस की आग , खून में लिपटा छोड़ गए ..
प्यार से सिंची गई मेैं मासूमियत की कली , रौंदकर तुम तो चले गए ..

दे गए ये काली याद , जीवन के हर भरोसे का विनाश कर ..
प्रज्वलित रहेगी ये नफरत की अग्नि , हर जख्मों को बर्दाश्त कर ..

डर लग रहा है अब मानो , किसी अपने के भी दिए प्यार से ..
रोम-रोम तप पड़ते हैं मेरे , उस विश्वास-घाती दुलार से ..

दब रही है मेरी आवाज , इस जहां के बेतुके सवालों से ..
जाने क्यों!! हो गई पराई मैं , इस समाज के बढ़ते फासलों से ..

नहीं हैं ये मेरी खुद की कहानी , ये कहानी पूरे समाज की हैं ..
हैवानियत में लिपटे हैं कुछ इंसानी चेहरे , ये घटना पूरे समाज की हैं ..

Oh, we are boiling like water just like sitting on a pan,
We are like chickens bawling because ozone layer's falling began.

Ozone layer that saved us is now under threat from human exploitation,
Indiscriminate deforestation in humans is thinning the layer and causing extinction.

Who saved our lives from the deadly scorching rays of the sun,
Now, that same layer is in danger since we are touching fun.

We can't live without breathe and our body can't bear the sun heat,
We don't need much and let's save our mother to live the lead.

The shelter of the layer wrapped around us as a blanket,
Can't cut trees it kept holes in the ozone can more effective.

Rivers, drains are drying up and the scene is sinister,
Melting polar ice is spreading water in the glacier.

We have to act wisely and protect ourselves from radiation,
Because we shambly neglect others lungs and breathe without hesitation.

Safeguarding us from many years nor will there be any action in their favor in the high court,
It is everyone's responsibility to protect it not to cover with things as raincoat.
