ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣಲೊಂದು ಹನಿ ಬಿದ್ದರೆ ಮರುಗಿದಳು
ಅವಳ ಬದುಕನು ನನಗಾಗಿ ಮುಡಿಪಿಟ್ಟಳು
ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ ಧಾರೆ ಎರೆದಳು
ಬಾಳ ಪಯಣದಲಿ ನೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತೆಯಾದಳು
ಪದಗಳು ಸಾಲದು ಮಾಡಲು ನಿನ್ನ ಗುಣಗಾನವ
ಅಮ್ಮ, ಹೇಗೆ ತೀರಿಸಲಿ ನಾ ನಿನ್ನ ಋಣವ
ಜನುಮ-ಜನುಮಗಳ ಅನುಬಂಧವಿದು
ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕರ್ತನ ನಿಷ್ಕಲ್ಮಶ ಸಂಬಂಧವಿದು
