खुदा भी रखना, जेहन में बरक़रार, रखना ख़ौफ़-ए-ज़वाल भी,
उरूज़ कहीं नशा-आवर भी है, तो कहीं आगाज़-ए-ज़वाल भी।

तुम लोगों की नजर में सही बनने कि कोशिश मत करो
तुम खुदा की नजर में सही बनो कयोंकि
यहाँ लोग तो खुदा से भी बदगुमान हुए बैठे हैं।

Wo muje aashiq bana lay apna..
, muje ab ishq ma padna hain..
Yuhi ab roozana,
muje gut gut kay na marna hain
Bht dair se soo kar uth gaya hoon main
Muje ab khud ko jaga kay rakhna hai ..
Meri nisbat tujhse ALIF ka hoo
Ab isse chahat main muje fana bhi hona hain..
Meri sehar uss k haqq ma hain ab.
mujhe tu bas aagaz e shab ka intizaam krna hain ..

اللہ اور بندے کہ رشتہ الف کی طرح ہوتا ہے
جسکے ایک سرے پر اللہ ہے اور دوسرے سرے پر بندہ...
اور بندے کو اللہ تک پہنچنے کے لیے یہ سفر طے کرنا ہوتا ہے

मीम मुहब्बत देकर सब ने शीन से शायर बना दिया,
वरना जाहिल “अम्बर” तुम बस रटते रहते अलिफ अलिफ..!!

ALIF

Dipping the nib in the golden ink,
from the ocean of repentance,
In my heart I drew that line,
that separated me from myself.
A cut so divine, the redness
of the blood shed,
concealed my shameful history.
At the core of my hollow world,
I planted Your blessed name;
A road I chose, at the end were You,
I placed my soul under Your shade,
from the bruises of the world,
my body was free.
Alif, I uttered, the lies fell apart,
the world was left naked and true;
The castles were pretty prisons,
the applauses were mere distractions;
The hunger for a place here, a lost bet;
Foolish, conquering lands to make homes,
in this place with impermanence
written on its fate.
A death so enchanting, the death that
took me to You.
I memorize a new name of You every day,
every day this pain means something new.

अलिफ़ से उदासी पढ़ेगी..!!

Alif-e-Ishq hai yaa Ishq-e-Alif yahan
Mohabbat-e-inteha hai mgr wo kahan
Dhunde jise ye Duniya saare jahaan
Alif-e-Ishq me hai Ishq-e-Alif ke nishan

जिसे तू चाहता है वो दूर हो रहे हैं
