जब से शराब की दुकानें खुली हैं
लोगो मे अजीब सी खलबली मची है
जो कह रहे थे रोटी के लिए पैसे नही है
उन्होंने कट्टों में शराब की बोतलें भरी हैं
सुना है शर्म आती है अमीरो को लाइन में लगने में
शायद ठेके पर लाइन में लगकर उनकी शान बड़ी है
अरे अमृत नही है ये, जिसे पीने की तुम्हे इतनी तलब लगी है
जनाब Social Distancing की पूरी धज्जियाँ उड़ी है

দেখতে দেখতে আবারও একটা বছর হলো পার,
যতই মিনতি করো না কেন সময় তো দেবে না কোনো ছাড়।
এসেছে নতুন বছর, নিতে হবে নতুন অঙ্গীকার,
চলো না সবাই মিলে সামাজিক দূরত্ব বজায় রেখে করি করোনা'র প্রতিকার।

#SOCIAL DISTANCING

It's been a while now, hasn't it?
She said,
Since we have been socially distanced?
I've heard you have built a life for yourself

He replied
Yes, I had built my wigwam of busy-ness
She responded,
and spread myself across many engagements
of ensnared living, until time played its hand
And now look, I am enforced into an Ivory Tower,
while you had never gotten out of yours
Are we together in our loneliness?
Look around,
He replied,
I have filled each corner of this abode
with parts of me, I had given away
I called them over, across great distances
Now they tell me tales of pasts which weren't me
and with them, I build up myself into a new own
There's no loneliness here,
He went on,
Just a whole, made of broken parts
which I have now embraced as the story I can be....
