The biggest rivals of each other. They would always tease each other and cause tears. They would hit each other with pillows n books.

5years later
He was bullied by class mates. She stood as a shield. No one thereafter dared to mess with him

5more years later.
Her husband made her cry and hit her
The rival now stood as a brother! No more tears no more scars.

We live in a world at War,
Bedeviled by risk and uncertainties.
Everyone is up on a game of Thrones,
Trying to prove King Kongship of their space.
Fathers demand respect, honour and submission,
Mothers seek boundless love and attention,
Children wants care, attention and encouragement,
Lovers yearn for assurance, and the narrative is endless.
In all I have seen under the sun,
I put it to you today that,
Life is a game of Thrones.

And the dresses that I own are completely mine!!!

From you shouting
"Don't scold her!"
when dad mock-yelled
at 6-week-old me

to us glaring
spitefully at the other
when mom scolded us
for fighting

to us taking
each other's side
whilst arguing with our parents,
We both grew up!

Compare

'This' and 'That' the innocent fraternal twins
Burning in the heat of cold fire; so brightly lit
Boisterous 'Compare' rolls the dice with trick
Leaving one sulky and other boastful and quick

👦 SIBLING 👶 RIVALRY 👧

*🕉 The mother may love one child more, another a little less. You cannot expect that she should love absolutely equally; it is not possible. 🕉*
👧Children are very perceptive. They can immediately see that somebody is liked more and somebody is liked less.👦 They know that this pretension of the mother's loving them equally is just bogus. 👶

'The best days are not when you could have everything you want to the fullest, the best days were rather when you had to fight over the last piece of chocolate after dinner and ended up with your parents divided on who to side with'😍😍

Life is too difficult
If you feel too much
It is too difficult if you are
Too sensitive ,too caring
And if you are a girl, and
Eldest, the apple of the eye
Of father,not too much of
A problem in childhood
But once grow up, parents get old
And childhood jealousies
Sibling rivalry turns into nasty
Fights for property, money
That's the reason have stopped
Going to father's home,
He wishes me to come but siblings
Wish that he does not meet me..
I too don't meet
him lest he
Remembers he
has one more child
To include , I say let them take all
Leave me to love my Papa
But they won't let me care for him
See him, lest he remembers!😢
See, he is 92 and he forgets😢😢
