Lamp that illuminates
and also eradicates
the bad effects of certain planets.
At 9 pm , we leave our gadgets,
to pray and pray hard
to the Merciful Lord,
to wipe away the tears
to ward away the fears
of a million odd people,
who still feel feeble.
The lamp shines through it all,
we have to answer our spiritual call
to pray for the virus to depart,
and once again let joy be our lot.

दिखावे की होड़ से सज गईं हैं दुनिया
हर तले लिए बैठा है कोई दीया तो कोई मोम को
हैरान हूँ इस बात से जो पीटता हैं उन आयुष को
प्रश्न नहीं पूछता सरकार से उनकी मौत को
अपनी फ़लक साफ दिखाने को खड़ा होगा
वो भी हाथों में लिए है दीया और मोम को
छावं भी उसे की जा रही हैं ; जिसका जूता हो रंगीला
जो पैर धूप सैक बैठें उनको न पूछा जाता कोई छाता

अंधेरी रात में|
दिये आपके हाथ में ||

उम्मीदों का एक रिसाला निकलेगा
दिल में चुभता हर एक छाला निकलेगा
सवा अरब जब दीप जलेंगे आशा के
अंधियारों से नया उजाला निकलेगा।
