to commit crime
that once was a rarity,
Now they carry it with aplomb,
with gun shots and bomb.

On my morning walk , I saw a beautiful butterfly struggling
in the sticky spider woven web.
Tried to retrieve it carefully,
but it resisted ever so gracefully.
Perhaps thought I was a greater demon
than the web.
Thinking of it, I walked away with
surging emotion on the ebb.

On the bed I sat tight,
hearing the dogs bark,
in the eerie dark.
Wondering sat I
with a resounding sigh,
what have I done in this interval,
between birth and death,
for long I dwell
on memories of lore
inside me I hear a roar,
that tears my innermost core!

These red roses are so beautiful,
but they also have thorns placed there,
to protect their feelings so soulful,
so handle them with understanding and care.
Girls are also very sweet and sensitive,
be like a protective relative,
otherwise The Big Man Upstairs,
will cast His caustic gaze !

When there is no ego in a relationship,
then it can never ever sink.
When there is no jealousy in friendship,
then you can joyfully wink.
When there is enough space for each,
One is no longer termed a leech.
Where there is no unreasonable anger,
there is no question of any rancour.
Where there is no undue control,
merrily will sing the soul !
So, be egoless, calm and healthy in mind,
for,that is the real way to unwind !

Time why do you run so fast?
We have to pack for the travel.
Does it ring a bell...
Do we have to quickly act
with a dignified tact
to run on the proper track?
Medicines occupy a large part,
A fear of being in knots
if we leave some needed part.
The four hours of travel by air,
with so much pain, we dare.
to see the little one smile ,
a smile sans any guile.
All our tension vanishes
as she gate crashes
into our hearts full of love.
We, to the Lord with gratitude bow!

I ndebted totally to the Army.
C ertainly to the Airforce and Navy.

D aring to go ahead to protect our motherland
A ll we need is principles and discipline.
