Today, you had almost missed your return flight as you reached the airport late. A part of me prayed that you make it, and a part wished for you to miss the flight to come back and spend another day with me. You made it, after countless pleas at the check-in counter and ran like a squirrel to board. Once settled, you messaged me, ‘Made it, phew!’ I replied to it with a :) but you responded to my smile with a :( and then disappeared in the clouds of the airplane mode.

You too wanted to miss the flight, didn’t you? I once again sent a :) that is still not delivered. One tick only.

The second smiles are usually more genuine. No wonder, they take time to deliver.
