गणतंत्र हमारी वह आज़ादी है
जो हमें हमारे मूल अधिकारों
और लोकतंत्र की बैसाखियों पर
चलना और सम्भलना सिखाती है!

बेशक उस आज़ादी के सामने
छोटी है मगर, संविधान के रूप में
ये आज़ादी एक धागे में पिरो कर
समूचे देश में इंसानियत की ज्योति जलाती है!

इस देश के लिये ,
अपनो का रक्त और वक़्त भी दिया

सपनो को देखने और उनको पूरा करने कि लिए
IIT और IIM शिक्षण संस्थान भी दिया .

MANAREGA हो या BHAKRA DAM
Telecom Revolution हो या Computerization

अगर वो भी चाय के साथ पकोड़े ले के बैठ जाते
तो आज हम अपनो का इलाज करवाने AIIMS में ना जा पाते !

हिंदू हों या मुस्लिम , सिख हो या ईसाई
सबका साथ सबका विकास किया

फिर पूछते हो इस देश के लिए उन्होंने 70 साल में क्या किया !

From millions massacred during partition to innocent babies death, 70 years of Indian Independence has a long way to go for real Independence!

Independence from poverty, social evils, vulnerability, suppression, scams, many more!!

Some are fighting for the country on the borders,
Some are fighting inside the country for religion..

Some girls are making the country proud with medals,
While some others are left to die after being raped..

Money and caste are providing better opportunities,
Good knowledge and marks are pushing
the deserving students towards suicides..

Some say girls and boys are equal
in our country,
And their sisters are forced to ignore
their dreams for a better maritial life..

Some leaders lost their life for the country,
Some politicians are spoiling the country
with their corrupt decision all the time..

Independent India they shouted,
But even today,
after 70years of Independence,
a girl don't feel safe to step out of house
without fear.

कौन कहता है सबकी माँ हो ये जरूरी नहीं
मैं कहता हूँ जिनका वतन भारत (माँ) हो उनको माँ की कमी हो ये लाज़मी नहीं

He cuddled up in her arms.
She looked into those charming eyes of him.
As he placed a loving kiss on her forehead.

Once again she now woke up from the same dream smiling and sighing and recollecting from the same dream because now he doesn't remember her at all and she tries to smile and tries to remember their journey of love they had spend for the last 70 years.

ऐ वतन, मेरा ग़ुरूर है तू
ज़मीं से उठता ज़मीर है तू

तेरे सीने पे सियासत की
चाहें कितनी हों लकीरें
भाषा, मज़हब, धर्म की
कितनी भी कड़ी ज़ंजीरें

दिल में मेरे, एक ही नाम है तू
ख़ुदा से भी न कम, वो पैमान है तू

ऐ वतन, मेरा ग़ुरूर है तू
ज़मीं से उठता ज़मीर है तू ।

"Over 25 lakh Indians die of hunger every year..
Over 8.5 crore children don't go to school at all..
Over 12,000 farmer suicides per year..
Over 4 lakh reported cases of crime against women including rape, dowry deaths, domestic violence while majority of crimes are not even registered..
Over 60,000 cases of caste based violence..
More than 160 million people in India are considered 'Untouchable'......"

"We proudly celebrate 'freedom of nation' but what about 'freedom of mind' ?"
After completing 70 years of our independence, M still pondering over the question....

आज़ादी जी तो सब रहे हैं पर उसकी कीमत
उस माँ से पूछो जिसने अपने
बेटे की मौत पर आंसू नहीं बहाये।
उसकी आँखों में गर्व था ये कहते हुए
की उसका लाल शहीद हुआ है।

वो माँ है .......भारत माता है।
