'Twas just like another day,
with the sun shining, bright and gay.
I had my tutions, after which I was returning home, when
We crossed paths, me alone while you with someone to roam.
You looked at me, and smiled while I was staring
I smiled too, yet little did you know how I had noticed everything.
I had noticed how your soft fingers,
Had found its way through the fingers of someone else.
As you were walking, carefree while I smiled at myself.
I smiled at the memories we made,
Memories which like a storm or vikings
were raiding my mind with hopes as treasures in it, laid.
I went home and locked myself up in a room
and thought as drops ran down my cheeks.
I thought how right people are at times,
Of what they think, which I had realised-
"Never hope anything from anyone, be it close or be it near,
As hope is the only thing, people
Hope is the thing we all fear."

Best friends forever

I was proud to have only one friend,
Who always will be, no matter what,
I called him my best friend,
Coz only besties stands beside in every situation,
But,
My heart broke, when,
That best friend also couldn't understand me,
When I came to know, he has many such friends,
Calling him bestie...!!
