Syllables that have no meaning;
A love that signifies nothing.

A myriad reasons to be happy;
Divers reasons to smile.
Yet, one tiny frown from you--
One minute remark;
And, I crumble
Into multitudinous speckles,
Of zilch.

Meanwhile, in foreign country
Lazy afternoon
Husband is in the office
Kids are napping
Arrayed drawing room
Clock is ticking
Crackling fire sound coming from fire place
Snowy heaven outside the sliding glass door
Coffee mug in hands
Watching favorite series on Netflix
A deep sense of triumph
Still something missing....
??????
India, our country, our people, our atmosphere.
This must be a virtual zilch.

I yearn for a salutary presence
To arrive and bid me, gladly, to smile;
For, my undaunted soul's enfeebled;
Paltry words slip off my atrophied mouth--
Siphoned off by the insidious breeze.
Verses have long lost their nuances;
Gargantuan waves obliterate my thirst
For abiding love and soul-cleansing peace.
O, mighty Sorrow, take me up to the sky!
Devour my heart and cast away
The ghosts of boisterous, wonted fiends;
Permit me to dissolve in the fire!
Purify my sybaritic memories--
Extinguish all my piteous cries!

You matter, you know?
Yes you! You've not
been told so, right?
You have art hidden
inside your heart.

This art needs pain
to bloom! It will grow
flowers that carpet the
ground your feet touch.

Yet, you know zilch
for people have been
living as zilch all these
years, they know zilch,
make you feel you're
zilch, but, you ain't.

Zilch as zilch.
Like, frolicking with words,
In fact.

As it happens, you didn't
Mean it--or mayhap,
You did.

Yet, words need to be put,
Into action.
Otherwise, they're just zilch.

I speak a lot about love;
Yet, I don't really want it
When it arrives.
That'll be like walking
Into a burgeoning storm--
Knowing that it'll hurt
And unsettle my core;
It'll bust me into shards
And reduce me to nil;
Where'll that leave me, then,
When it happens--again?

Demise of a pure heart
Turns it into a taciturn entity.
But the vibrations that it spreads
into the universe,
is sufficient to ruin the world
to zilch . .
If it so desiderates .

Zilch quenching my thirst
Your love made me burst into tears,
Soothing myself, hope to have
Much love.

You left, I waived my thirst ;
Thirst of Love...

I am in deep thought,
Squeezing my mind
To spill some ink,
Words that can motivate,
Encourage,
Can give hope to every one,
But to my disheartenment,
Nothing come out,
I am run out of ink to bleed,
Nil of words to say,
Speechless--
I talk to myself,
Why?
Why can't you?
And I realize...
How can I?
How can I give
Motivation for others
When I myself is
Zilch of it...
