Suddenly a hand touched me in a bus.
I couldn't gather enough courage to turn around.
That was one unpleasant touch which made me scared of public transport.

Love has me in its grip
like a fakir without the comfort
of soft, buttery sandals,
barefoot,
on the road unknown to him,
yet every milestone looking
like a residence that was once his,
always ready to hitch a ride on
any transport as long as
it keeps him on that road.
But that's the problem
with being a fakir.
You know the road,
but not its end.
Alas, that's the problem
with love too.
