कितना ही आगे बढ़ जाऊं
कितना ही खुद को सशक्त बना लूं
फिर क्यों खुद को उस दोराहे पे खड़ा पाती हूं
जहां बेटियों की मां होने पे लोग
मुझसे मेरे अस्तित्व को छीनना चाहते हैं
क्यों महसूस कराते हैं
की सिर्फ लड़का ही मेरे मातृत्व
को पूरा करने का हक रखता है
और मेरी बेटियों की खुशियां मनाने
मानो एक नया गुनाह है बन गया है
