For, life's too short to spend it
With someone who merely aims
To make me a lurid, little game--
A cycle of comings and goings;
A sport of thoughts and feelings.

Mud on your hands,
The sun in your eyes,
Sweat trickling down your neck.
Your wet T-shirt embracing
your masculine body.
You were a sight,
Purely aesthetic.
While your eyes were fixed on the ball
Mine were fixed at you.
We both wanted to win.
You, the game
And I, just YOU.

On the summer sunny day,
he stood with his bat to play.
One shot right, one shot left
making the opponents depressed.
After sometime,
when he begin to sweat n breath abruptly
to enhance his performance, mob addressed him with glee.
Run after run, point after another point
didn't let the country n its cricket lovers to disappoint.
He marched for victory
Victory' cause him make history.
