Silence and darkness comfort me
The soft glow of white snow rising through my window
The black contour of the trees against the dark gray skies
The silence like a continuously whispered promise
The steady stillness feeling omnipresent and everlasting
And as the darkness creeps further and further into me
I calm more and more, the quiet enveloping all
The night is a comfort and the quiet is reassurance
That all is well even when it is to be broken by the rising of the shine

बदलाव जिन्दगी के गमो को
भूलकर अच्छे कर्मों का...
बदलाव सब दर्द भूलकर
अपनों के दिए दर्द को
अपनों का ख्याल रखने का
बदलाव हर झकम बार बार
हरे होकर भी उसको सहकर
अपने कर्मों को अच्छा करने का
बदलाव जिन्दगी की जंग को
एक बेहतर भविष्य समझकर
अच्छे सोच से अच्छे व्याहार से
हर मुश्किलों को पार करने का
बदलाव सबके साथ प्रेम की
भाषा बोलने का......
बदलाव खुद में लाने का
पहल खुद से ही शुरु करने का....
बदलाव ईश्वर प्रेम में लीन होने का....
बदलाव रात के ख़ामोशी में दर्द और
दिन के उजालों में मुश्कुराहट बिखरने का....।
