तुम्हे आज बेनकाब कर भी दू तो क्या
इस जमाने को तुम्हारे असलियत से वाक़िफ कर भी दू तो क्या
पैसों की भुक तुम में इस कदर समाई है
मानो पूरी ज़िन्दगी की गरीबी तुम्हारे घर एक साथ आई है ।
तुम्हारे खुदगर्जी पर किताब भी लिख दू तो क्या।
तुमने दोस्ती की हर हदो को जलाई है।

मै खुद से अक्सर यह सवाल करता हूं ,
क्या किसी पर विश्वास करना गलत था?
सामने मुस्कुराहट और पीठ पीछे
छिपा ज़हरीला साँप सा था ।
तुम्हारा यह कारोबार काफ़ी पुराना लगता है।
सिर्फ धोके में डूबा तुम्हारा ईमान लगता है।
बातें तो ऐसे बनाई जैसे कितनी भोली हो।
पर धीरे धीरे वक्त से बताया कि कितनी झूठ
की बीज मेरे ज़िंदगी में बोई हो।

अब तुम्हे बेनकाब कर भी दू तो क्या?
तुम्हारे गुनाहों पर किताब लिख भी दू तो क्या?

the humans he created;

and snakes.

who they are.

Most people
Are driven by ambition
They achieve great heights
And some are driven by jealousy
These ones are toxic
They spew hatred
Like rattlesnakes spit out venom
They turn so green that
The grass on your side
Pales to yellow
They will always want
To reach the summit
But will never use their own legs
They will climb on to your back
Dig their nails into your flesh
And feed on your blood
Stay away from them.

Mita: Maa why can't we have snakes as pets?
Maa: They dont feel any emotional bonding. They have small brains. They eat their own babies. So they lay their eggs and move away from them.

But emotional bondings are rare in humans too Maa,
Other wise why do they abort their own babies ?

those snakes left behind.
