Running away from my life,
I found you,
standing calmly like the ocean
Waiting for me to dive...
I thought I had found the peace to my restless,
The quiet to my talkative,
The serious to my banter,
Together we were like a perfect team,
Balancing each other,till there was too much to balance.
Looking back I wonder what got me hooked,
Was it the hope in your eyes that I wanted to believe,
Was it the happiness in your smile that made me forget all my pains,
Was it your perfume that smelled like home...
Perhaps it was the hope of finding my happiness that I lost to life.
You did not want a tag and I just wanted to be with you...
Just talk to you,hear you speak,
Kiss you till our thoughts got mixed,
Hug you till I smelled like you.
In the end the reality hit hard...
Except the initial excitement to call yours,
There was nothing in this SITUATIONSHIP to call yours,
Not your efforts, not your heart, not your presence...
But you turned out to be the most important lesson of my life... To never fall for someone who only has excuses and absences to offer.

It's ok...
If the people around you is not willing to talk the talk or walk the walk along with you..You seriously don't need them to do so because people nowadays are interested in making a situationship not a heart warming relationship or friendship, for them you are or were just a momentarily company for their desires & being such a company doesn't even going to cost you much but sometimes it's a matter of consistential reciprocation & if you don't get that in repeated manner then distance yourself over all such selfish short term situationships... Because your heart is just not a circus to be played by anyone anytime anywhere.
