Salvage

Concreted our lives
With the sky scrapers
Life occupied
Greens deserted
Breath perturbed
Weald been obliterated
New life is still sprouting
Salvage the breath !

I forage
in our ruins
to salvage relics
that promised
to make us
but conspired otherwise.

An excavation
of a union
is not for the faint hearted,
the skeletal remains
of past loves
posing questions
that render
all our answers
impotent.

Knots

Knots can make a thread stronger or weaker. It all depends where do we knot it. Like, in a surgery, the knots in suture thread makes it stronger and salvages the tissue. And, in a relationship, the knots in the bond makes it weaker, forfeiting the relationship.
Choose your knot wisely.

As you go through the various stages,
Life shall throw the option of becoming savage
Still,
If you wish to be recalled even after ages,
Choose to salvage yourself by being sage...

Tonight I won't share songs with you,
Tonight no lyricist can begin to fathom my thoughts,
Tonight I'll send you an empty voice note, fill it as you like,
The silence will spell the words for you,
The static will be my loudest cry,
Like a sunken ship with no treasures aboard,
There's no 'us' left to salvage to warrant even a try...

Sometimes I feel

Why do women have to explain it to people that what they do,
The chores
The Cares
The Cures
There is hypocrisy in the celebration
Hypocrisy and demeanor

But anyways enjoy the day
