Changing landscapes


I have been looking up on the horizon
There seems to be a thing in common
Across the rhetorical landscapes
And changing flora,
The common thing that connects
Also makes me wonder
How much is closer now,
Fast just like the lightening,
Just connecting,
The mud houses to the mansions,
Electricity running across the wires
And bringing us together.

How wonderful it is to have someone,
Who understands you so well,
Sometimes even out of context .
Sometimes just the look in your eyes can convey the message,
Isn't it completely blissful to have
Someone in your life who gets you this well.
